The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 113 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely unchanged from levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.22-23 yen compared with 113.21-31 yen in New York and 113.48-50 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1344-1348 dollars and 128.44-45 yen against 1.1347-1357 dollars and 128.50-60 yen in New York and 1.1363-1364 dollars and 128.95-99 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
