The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 112 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely unchanged from levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 119.99-112.00 yen compared with 112.02-12 yen in New York and 112.23-24 yen at 17:00 on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1549-1550 dollars and 129.33-36 yen against 1.1548-1558 dollars and 129.42-52 yen in New York and 1.1528-1529 dollars and 129.38-42 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
